After working alongside Carolyn for a number of years, I personally feel that she sets the standard for how local community organisations should be managed and run.  Her extensive tenure leading Kensington Neighbourhood House was characterised by financial stability; happy and driven staff and volunteers; strong networks and partnerships; programming innovation; and importantly, an engaged and supported community.  She always provided strong guidance and a commitment to collaboration to myself and the wider Board, consistently impressing us with her skill, integrity and a calm confidence around all aspects of the operations of the organisation. Our organisation would not be the vibrant and successful place it is today without her leadership.
