Carolyn Webster - Consultant and Project Manager
Professional Services
I'm an experienced Manager and jack of all trades when it comes to running a small not for profit organisation. As a consultant I am available for short term contracts, one-off projects or longer part-time work in the following areas.
-
Organisational management – I have almost 20 years’ experience in managing Neighbourhood Houses. During my time at Kensington Neighbourhood House I led the team to win the Victorian Training Award 2016 (Community Training Provider of the Year). I know what it takes to make an organisational successful. I’ve managed an RTO, Learn Local and Childcare Service. If you need a short-term locum or mentor contact me for a chat.

-
Grant writing – I’m a successful grant writer and understand the key components of a strong application. A winning application must have a well thought out project plan that demonstrates need, considers risk management, shows an ability to deliver and has a realistic budget. I can help with writing submissions, research, demographic data and proof reading/editing.

-
Project management – I have great organisational and time management skills, can work to a budget and am a great communicator, whether it be with partner organisations, community members, funding bodies or other stakeholders.

-
Written communication – From annual reports to e-newsletters, social media posts, media releases and more. I love to write. Check out some of the stories I wrote for the Beyond the Dollhouse project.

-
Program Facilitation and Events Management - I have experience in running seniors groups, children’s activities, community lunches, knitting classes and community events.

I have a Diploma of Management from RMIT’s Community Business Management Program and have completed Engagement Essentials – IAP2 with the International Association for Public Participation.
